Description

Traditional Southern African Game of Skill and Coordination

Celebrate Southern African heritage with the Indigenous Games Deketo Board. Also known as Diketo, this traditional hand-skill game challenges players to toss and catch a larger shooter stone while moving smaller stones into or out of the central bowl.

The moulded board provides a convenient alternative to digging a traditional hole in the ground, allowing Deketo to be played on any stable, flat surface. Its recessed centre holds the playing stones, while the raised outer border helps keep the game contained. Ideal for schools, Indigenous Games programmes, community centres and recreational play.
